Tell us about your business!
Letterbox Gifts are an independent, female-led business based in Yorkshire. We’re the home of convenient, beautiful gifting for all occasions. We curate, hand-wrapped and deliver gifts sets for all occasions directly through the letterbox.
We started our business in 2015 as we found sending gifting to friends and family who live far away very difficult, whether it was the recipient having to wait in for the post and spoil the surprise, or having to order to yourself for gift wrapping then posting onwards - the experience was far from the hassle-free experience we try to offer our customers.
Which print products have you found the most success with?
We use instantprint for our greetings cards which ultimately deliver the whole sentiment behind the gift, as it’s the first thing the customer sees when they open the box and contains the customer's personalised message.
We also use instantprint for our gift box inserts, which introduce our gifts and detail the contents of the Letterbox Gifts.
Another key print product for us is the really handy (and hard to come by) swing tag from instantprint as they’re a simple yet effective way to add bespoke branding to some of our gifts for our corporate clients, which transform our gifts into something unique for them.
We are frequently updating our range so need adaptability in terms of quantities and fast delivery times.
How do you make customers feel special?
Personalisation and getting across a customer’s heartfelt gesture onto our Letterbox Gifts is important to us; that’s why we allow customers to add a personalised message to our greeting cards. That’s also why it’s so important that the cards supplied by instantprint are fit for further printing in-house here in terms of their uncoated card stock and choice of gsm.
Knowing we can easily add bespoke branding for our corporate clients with a quick turnaround means we can create gifts for them that will leave a lasting impression on their staff and customers.
What’s the main benefit of working with a dedicated account manager?
Just being able to email our one point of contact makes discussing bespoke projects/quantities makes ordering easier. We also use instantprint’s multi-address delivery option to split order quantities and deliver to our drop-shippers.
