How do I send my design off for magazine printing?

What does'pp'mean?
If you’ve never done A4 or A5 magazine printing before, this can seem a little confusing. When you’re choosing the number of pages in your magazine you may see the term ‘pp’ – 24pp, for example. This is short for ‘printed pages’.
When you send your magazine design to print, you’ll have to create artwork for both sides of every piece of paper. One printed page is one side of an individual piece of paper. It means a 24pp booklet actually only has 12 physical pieces of paper in it.
Don’t forget – your front and back cover are included as part of this too.
Why do magazines pages go up in fours?
The way our magazine pages are bound together means that page counts for printing are in multiples of four. After printing, the pages are folded and then bound together to create the perfect magazine. The folding is what creates four pages – a front page, two middle pages and a back page.
What can a perfect bound magazine be used for?
