Frequently Asked Questions
How many flyers should I print for an event?
It depends on several factors!
Advertising – If you’re using flyers to advertise your festival, think about how much time you’ve got to circulate them and where you plan to hand them out. If you’re attending a busy fresher’s fayre for a week, you could be looking at thousands. If you’re handing them out on the local high street for the day, you may just want a few hundred.
Attendees – If your flyers are going to be handed out on the day of your event, think about the number of attendees. If you’ve sold tickets, keep track of how many and work out the number of flyers you need based on that. It’s always better to have a few too many than not enough!
Budget – Of course budget is a big contender. The more flyers you need the more expensive it will be. However, the more you order, the cheap the cost per flyer becomes, it’s all about finding the perfect balance! You can always look at stocks and sizes to see if you can find something to suit your budget here too.
What are the types of festivals?
There are hundreds of types of festivals that take place all year round. Although summer is the most popular time of year for festivals to take place, there are plenty of events hosted indoors as well as out. Some popular festivals include:
- Music festivals
- Film festivals
- Comedy festivals
- Food and drink festivals
- Charity or fundraising festivals
- Religious festivals
- Seasonal festivals
What festival merch should I buy?
Festival merch is always popular amongst attendees. Whether your event is selling merch, you’re an artist, vendor or charity, you may want to sell or giveaway some goodies. We’d recommend:
Festival T-shirts – Most popular, attendees love to buy t-shirts to commemorate and remember a festival, our t-shirts come in a range of colours and sizes.
Festival Water Bottles – If your festival spans over a weekend, water bottles are a great idea to make sure attendees stay hydrated and get to keep a bit of the festival after as a memento.
Festival Posters – Whether it’s an amazing line up or they’re looking to get something signed, a poster is a fantastic piece of print to sell to attendees.
Festival Bags – For those who want something more practical, a branded tote bag that can be used again and again is always a popular choice.
Festival Stickers – Nice and simple, stickers are a great item to giveaway to attendees as a little something to remember the day by.
