NCR Pads, also known as carbonless copy pads, use pressure-sensitive paper to create multiple handwritten copies without traditional carbon paper. Available in 2-part (duplicate), 3-part (triplicate) or 4-part (quadruplicate) sets, each pad contains 50 sets and is ideal for invoices, receipts, delivery notes and job sheets. Whether you're handing a copy to a customer or keeping one for your records, everyone's on the same page. Literally.

Add sequential numbering to your NCR Pads to give each set its own unique reference number, with your choice of starting number and optional prefix. Every pad also includes a greyboard writing shield to prevent handwriting from transferring onto the sets underneath. Less paperwork confusion, more keeping things in order.

NCR stands for No Carbon Required. instantprint NCR pads use specially coated carbonless paper to create multiple copies of the same handwritten form without traditional carbon paper, photocopying or scanning.
Each pad contains multiple 2-part, 3-part or 4-part sets glued together. When you write on the top sheet, pressure from your pen transfers the information onto the coloured copies underneath.
Every NCR pad also includes a greyboard writing shield, helping prevent your writing from transferring onto the sets below.
The number of parts refers to the total number of sheets within each NCR set, including the original.
Choose the number of parts based on how many copies you need. For example, a 3-part form lets you give one copy to a customer while keeping two for your records or different departments.
instantprint NCR pads contain multiple multipart sets glued together into one pad, while NCR sets are supplied as individual multipart forms.
Choose NCR pads for paperwork you regularly complete on the go, or NCR sets when you need individual forms ready to hand out.
instantprint NCR pads and sets are available in five standard sizes: A3, A4, A5, A6 and DL.
Custom-sized NCR pads and sets are not currently available.

The specially coated paper reacts to writing pressure, transferring information from the top sheet onto the copies underneath without needing traditional carbon paper.
This allows you to create duplicate, triplicate or quadruplicate forms simply by writing on the original sheet.
instantprint NCR paper is available in white, yellow, pink and green, allowing you to distinguish between the original and additional copies.

instantprint uses Calibri Standard at 16pt for sequential numbering on NCR pads.

Setting Up Your NCR Pad
The quickest and most accurate way to create your artwork is with our online Design Tool, which includes a range of industry and use-case templates for NCR Pads — from invoices and delivery notes to work orders and appointment cards. Prefer to design it yourself? Download one of our blank templates from the templates section, or use the product measurements on the right to build your design in a third-party tool.
Supplying Your Artwork
Please supply 1 design page for your NCR Pad - every sheet in the pad carries the same design, so we're not able to print a different design on each page.
NCR Pads can be printed single-sided or double-sided. Single-sided prints the front of every sheet only; double-sided prints the front and back of every sheet. Bear in mind the pad is only ever written on the front - double-sided is usually used for things like terms and conditions that are only meant to be read, on the reverse.
NCR Pads use carbonless paper: writing or pressure applied to the top sheet transfers straight through to the sheets underneath, so every part of the pad captures the same information. If you'd like sequential numbering added to each set, specify where you need it placing when designing or uploading your artwork to the website.

Our blank templates are set up to the right size with guides that include where your design will be cut and the safe area for text. After creating your artwork you can upload once you have added your print to the basket.
For our standard turnaround and delivery options, you have until 6:30pm to order and approve your artwork. Simply select an option above with a delivery date that suits you and we’ll ensure it arrives with you on time.
If your delivery address is in one of the postcodes highlighted on our delivery help page as an extended area, delivery will take a further working day.
